All-You-Can-Eat Buffet

Serving Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

With a decor that includes colorful tile floors and columns, exotic tropical foliage, ornate wrought iron fixtures and ceiling fans, Coco Palms is designed to reflect the casual elegance of restaurants in Miami’s trendy South Beach area.

The 340-seat room has the variety and convenience of buffet dining, but also presents an extensive selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner items for health-conscious customers. More than 200 food items are included on the dinner menus, including Italian, French, German, Mexican, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Greek, Polynesian, Thai and Cuban specialties. The selection changes every day.

Coco Palms has five “action” stations where diners can watch as their food is prepared by expert chefs.

The broiler station offers steaks, chops, barbecued ribs, swordfish, trout, chicken and beef fajitas and many other delicacies.

The grill station produces a wide variety of items, including crab cakes, red snapper, Philadelphia steak sandwiches and hamburgers.

Prime rib, ham, turkey and New York strip loin are sliced to order at the carving station.

More than 25 Chinese dishes are prepared at the wok station.

Among the many dinner specialties are roasted veal scaloppini, chicken tetrazzini, Maltese baked swordfish, seafood linguini, lobster and shrimp scampi, orange roughy francaise and grilled lamb chops.

Dinners feature an impressive array of salads, fruits, vegetables and freshly-baked desserts.

All beverages, including milk, coffee, tea, and soft drinks are included in the price of the meals.

  • Breakfast 7am - 11am $8.95
  • Brunch 11am - 2pm $10.45
  • Dinner 3pm - 10pm $12.95

I know, the Stardust is closing in 10 days. This is why we decided to try it out, since it’s such a legendary hotel/casino. We tried their Brunch on Saturday. Well, seems that the employees were less than enthused to still be there, so the service was sub par. The selection was average and quality was below average. The only food item that stood out for me was their Banana Cream Pie, although the bottom was soggy. Other than that, everything else was forgetable. For its price of $30, this was a mediocre buffet.

It was $30 for my husband, 5 year old daughter, and myself at the time. Our 2 year old was free of charge. $30 out of pocket total.
