Big appetites get a big welcome at The Big Kitchen Buffet! Set to resemble an over-sized family kitchen, Bally’s award-winning buffet offers a homey setting where guests can enjoy an exceptional meal. The tantalizing selections change to reflect the seasons, but the service remains a constant.

While friendly chefs prepare the food at vibrant cooking stations, the food-prep is only part of the show. The Big Kitchen Buffet offers memorable meals alongside an elevated view of the Strip. With its full drink service, ample dessert bar and breakfast, lunch and dinner menus it’s easy to see why this buffet specializes in repeat customers.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and selection of this buffet. The Big Kitchen Buffet is indeed a big kitchen. The dining area is separate from the “kitchen” area where they display the food. As a tip, get the Fun Book, it contains many coupons, including a few $5 off per person coupon for all of Harrah owned casinos‘ buffets. My husband signed up for Imperial Palace’s player’s card and they gave him this book. Anyway, we obviously used it this time and saved $10, which we used for tip because the waitress/server that we had provided excellent service. She was an elderly lady that was very helpful and brought everything necessary without being asked, even once. The dining area was pretty empty and there was no one in line to get in, we were there around 3:45pm, so it was between brunch and dinner. Their service from beginning to end was excellent. Definitely the best service we have received in quite a while. The array of food was a perfect balance. Not too much, not too little. Not too fancy, not too shabby. My favorite food station was the steamed seafood station. Their steamed crab legs, mussels, and teriyaki salmon were divine. If you’re not into seafood, their pasta selection and New York steak was good as well. I was satisfied and left content with a delicious meal and excellent service.

Bally’s Big Kitchen buffet usually doesn’t get good ratings. I think I’ll give it a try after seeing your review. The pictures are beautiful.

Thanks for all these great reviews.

Thank you Kim. I try to take some photos of the buffet/food while there, if they allow it. Every now and then, an employee frowns upon my taking photos, so I’m unable to. Then I try the next time we’re there.

It may have been timing or just luck, but we had a great experience at Bally’s Big Kitchen buffet, as you’ve read above. I hope that you’ll have just as good of an experience as we did.

Thank you for being such a loyal reader.

I see the monorail in one of the photos. So I assume the buffet is in the tower close to the monorail stop? That’s convenient.

Hi, it’s me again. I have a question for you, Rex. My son & I are arriving on a Sunday morning and staying the first two nights at Excalibur (before moving further north on the strip). I’m looking for a good Sunday brunch between mid and south strip that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg since my son won’t be drinking champagne, although I like it. Do you think Bally’s would be our best choice? Thanks.

For clarification, I’m talking about the lower priced brunch, not the Sterling brunch.
