Suites in the Sky

Last week I spent some time in an Aria “Deluxe Room” but the coating on the windows prevented me from fully appreciating the view.

Today, I spent a couple of hours in a “Sky Suite”, and fortunately the windows were crystal clear.  I was able to get both a mountain view, a “city view”, and I also got some shots of the suite itself.

Due to the size and perspective of these suites, I’m a fan.  They are modern, clean, and larger than the majority of inner-city luxury apartments.  I spent a solid hour just looking out the window, watching traffic pass beneath us, and watching airliners banking overhead.  A new perspective on the city can hold my attention for some time as I sear every detail of the view into my feeble brain.

Unfortunately, not all is well … yet.

The phone in the living room was dead, they still had “Ikea Foam” in the mini-bar, and there was a “WARNING!” notice taped to the bedroom wall.

So far, three of our forum members have stayed in various rooms in Aria.

The experiences have been a mixture of positive, negative, frustration, and situations that would be sad were they not so funny.

This thread might be worth a read if you are planning on staying at Aria in the near future.
