Months ago, I was kicked out of the MGM/Mirage Sales Office near the Bellagio Conservatory for the grave crime of trying to photograph this exact thing.

“No pictures, no pictures!” they screamed.

You would have thought that I was a paparazzi trying to get an upskirt picture of Britney Spears (who always wears underwear so it would have been pointless).

Anyway, after all of the commotion, imagine my surprise when I was strolling through the Mirage late at night only to see … the forbidden display, completely out in the open and unguarded near the check-in desk.

Some heads are going to roll for this one.

I’ve blown the lid off of something huge here.

From the looks of things, it appears that they have some construction planned.

I feel that this scoop offers conclusive proof that MGM/Mirage is indeed planning to build some kind of structure between the Monte Carlo and the Bellagio. From the looks of it, the structure will be rather large. If I was a pundit, I might speculate that they are going to build some kind of hotel and/or casino on the site … or possibly a small central city.
