“Alleged” Hooker to Sue Steve Wynn

As the debate has been raging over what a stupid imbecile I am for suggesting that the hooker may have a valid claim against Steve Wynn, and I was given assurances that “nothing would come of it” …. guess what?

That’s right … something is coming of it.

Goddamn, could it be that I am not a complete moron?

Probably not, but it’s an interesting thought to entertain.

Anyway, the hooker that Steve Wynn forcibly detained plans on suing him.

And they said it couldn’t happen …

It’s been my opinion since the story broke that chances were high that Steve would pay the woman off to make the whole thing go away, but again, I was basically dismissed as an idiot.

The woman is claiming that she did not solicit Steve, rather, he ran up to her and put her in a choke hold while calling her “Jamie”.  You can’t make this stuff up.

As everyone knows, Steve’s eyesight is not great, and it probably wouldn’t be the first time he got people confused with each other. I don’t know how great of a witness he could make given the limited nature of his sight, but I am sure he has people to back up his story.

Nonetheless, when I first read the article, it didn’t past the smell test to me.

While whores may not be the smartest people on the planet, I doubt they are quite stupid enough to trot up to Wynn himself and solicit sex. Most of them do have some “street intelligence” which allows them to ply their trade.

I can’t imagine them flinging themselves at a casino owner who has banned them. This really is not a reasonable course of action for a hooker.

And contrary to popular opinion, when someone puts you or a relative in a choke hold, “slapping” the aggressor is not assault, it is self-defense.

And what is the deal with being so indignant about hookers? This is Las Fucking Vegas.  Why would you open a casino here, and rail against the hookers? It’s like a fisherman cursing the water.

Someone must have gotten a really lousy blowjob from a hooker named Jamie … otherwise, I don’t understand the big deal.

People come to this town for the hookers. They are part of the landscape, they are part of the economy … if they upset you that much, I don’t know how you would be able to operate on The Strip without being in a state of 24 hour anger.

All of the skepticism about Steve’s side of the story withstanding … I wasn’t there and have absolutely no idea what happened. The hooker’s story is more plausible from a common-sense point of view, but I imagine the facts will speak for themselves at a later date.

If it does go to court, which I doubt, I can’t see any Nevada court convicting Steve Wynn of anything based on the testimony of a hooker. It really wouldn’t matter if he was guilty or not, I just have great doubt that any court in this state would rule against him on anything.

I still think chances are high that the lady is going to get handed a few black chips to shut the hell up.

Or maybe not.

Predictions are worthless … but we might be in for an interesting show.
