Pummeled
posted in Las Vegas |

The whole area got pounded by storms about an hour ago.
Everywhere from The Strip to Henderson to Sunrise Mountain got utterly whacked by a sting of huge thunderstorms.
Some areas recorded two inches of rain in 30 minutes.
I finally managed to get some actual photos of the lightning. These bolts were almost directly over McCarran airport. I could see that the areas to the south and east were getting hammered even harder than what we got here on and near The Strip.
This is by far the wettest, windiest, and most volatile summer I have ever experienced in Las Vegas.
