Going the Opposite Direction
This is the flipside to this video.
I had to go back in the opposite direction recently, and got some tricky-to-get shots of the Encore’s north entrance where you can see the northern “crotch port” (or whatever the driveway is called), and I also got up close and personal with the Echelon Place construction pit at 45Mph.
Outside of those two things, there is nothing really interesting to be seen in this thing.
Unless you never ride in a car yourself, in which case you will find the forward motion between dotted lines utterly fascinating.
You will also see the exact place in the city where you should always ride your brakes if you rent a car or drive around town in any manner.
Metro PD camps out at the base of the overpass hill, and tickets people left and right.
It’s like shooting fish in a barrel.
If you take your foot off of the gas pedal completely, you will coast down at about 50-55MPH, so if you don’t tap the brakes going down, you will almost certainly be speeding.
