Speaking of elevators, about 48 seconds is how long it takes the outside express elevator to climb the 51 floors of the Rio.

Said folks were Downtown last night (I was in a different part of town), and I am reading their reports from Fremont in the forums with much amusement.

Apparently there was a required hand-pay at the Western for a “jackpot” of less than $1.

And people say the Western isn’t swanky.
