Bill’s New Ebay Slot Machine
This thing caught my eye while walking past Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall.
It looked as queer as two left shoes, but it certainly did get my attention.
And let’s face it, Ebay and their affiliated company “PayPal” have always been a gamble anyway. I try to use them both as little as possible.
Still, I was intrigued.
I figured the “jackpot” would be an immediate freeze on your paypal account, while some guy from the Philippines persistently tried to pay out your winnings with a fake money order.
Being a glutton for punishment, I simply had to sit down and play it.
I asked the woman beside me what the object was (I assumed there was a greater object given the size of the machine).
“Just press the spin button” she said.
Silly me. I should have known that they wouldn’t over-complicate something as basic as a slot machine.
I dutifully hit “spin” repeatedly until I was out of credits. I think I won a little on a single spin, but the few bucks I put in was soon drained.
I still have no idea what it has to do with Ebay … if anything.
That lady beside me did hit a spin for $118 dollars (or something like that), though.
She shrieked with delight, and I congratulated her.
Since she was in a really good mood, I asked her what the game had to do with Ebay and she said “I have no idea”.
That made two of us.
Nonetheless, the machine is big and pretty and people can win money apparently.
I guess that’s really all that matters.
