About 1pm yesterday, a convoy of 5 military helicopters came out of the East, circled The Stratosphere, then proceeded up The Strip.
It was kind of an ominous thing to observe.
I walked out of Radio Shack, heard “thump thump thump thump thump”, looked up, and saw this long string of black helicopters very purposefully headed somewhere in perfect formation.
I lost track of them, but if they were going to McCarran, then there would have been no reason to go out over The Strip.
Was there some kind of threat?
Hell if I know. I certainly didn’t hear anything about it.
