Screw CES and the laptop computers that can mow your frigging lawn.

The REAL show started today.

The Adult Expo 2008 kicked off at 9:30 this morning, and runs through this Saturday.

And make no mistake, the guys coming out of the CES Seminars at the Sands Expo Center were eyeing the Adult Expo areas like Rosie O’Donnel eyes a porkchop.

You could cut the envy with a knife as they watched us stroll through the doors with half-naked lady banners hanging overhead as they were preparing for another keynote speech from some fully dressed, self-important, techno-dweeb.

I’m pretty sure a large number of the CES folks are going to hang around an extra day or two so they “don’t have to fight the crowds at the airport”. At least that’s what they’ll tell the boss.

I arrived there shortly after opening, and spent the better part of the day there. This truly is the most fun convention in Las Vegas. By far.

I saw more leg humps than a female dog in heat, and over the next few days,there will be more.

I have tens of thousands of photos and a couple of hours of video already, so it is going to take me a long time to get this post together. If you are interested in this event, bookmark this page and check back over the next few days for updates.

I was lucky enough to score a press pass (which also gets me access a day earlier than the general public), so this is a 4 day vacation in heaven for me. Thanks Sean … you’re my hero!

To be honest … I was both shocked and flattered at the amount of people who knew me. Everyone in the press registration room had heard of me. Oh … YOU’RE Rex!!! And they were dragging people over to meet me. They treated me really, really well. One lady said “So you’re the guy who has been keeping us laughing all week with your emails!” Everyone seemed kind of glad to meet me, and made me feel very welcome.

I’m not “press” but I ended up scoring a pass basically by emailing, begging, and throwing myself on the mercy of the Expo organizers. They got a laugh, and I got a pass. Score one for VegasRex!

Even if you are paying … it is only $80 for the general public, and trust me … it really is a bargain. You get five times that much in sample porn, and if you are lucky, you’ll get boobs shoved in your face.

I dare you to find a better time in Vegas for under a C note.

I got to meet the smoking hot Olivia Dunn from G4 TV (pictured above). While not an adult actress, she does hold the title of being the only woman I have wanked to while watching her deliver a news story fully clothed.
