I hung out with my buddy Adam from the UK for about two hours today, and we did a quick walk-through of two casinos. MGM Grand and Hooters.
We tried to have lunch at In-N-Out Burger, but when we got there, the line was just too long. I like In -n- Out, but not if the “Out” part is an hour after the “In” part. Maybe later this week …
At the MGM, we spotted two cowboys from the National Finals Rodeo. They were kind enough to pose for a photo. I asked because I don’t think I have ever seen a real cowboy before. I’m not even sure if these guys were real cowboys, but they looked the part … so what the hell.

We then headed over to Hooters. I only hung out in there for about 10 minutes, which was long enough to lose $9 in this machine on one play:

If you saw this virtual woman, you would have played too. I was hoping it was some version of Strip Poker. Sadly, it was not.

I think the $3 minimums for the game are far too much. I stuck a $10 bill in, and only got one play. I don’t like losing 9 bucks on ONE play on a video machine.
I believe we both lost our first and only hands. I wasn’t really sure how to play. It was the novelty factor that suckered me in. I had a low pair with an Ace kicker, and the guy beside me said “bet that”. The machine got a higher pair. And my money was gone.
Note to guy who said “bet that”: Fuck you
After getting robbed by these machines, we walked around the Blackjack tables and took pictures of the dealers.

Adam sat down to play some Blackjack, and last I heard, he was doing quite well.
Then again, considering the dealers at his tables, I would imagine that he won the moment he sat down.
If he wins the hand, he gets the cash.
If he loses the hand, the dealer has to bend over to retrieve the bets.
How can you lose?
