Bellagio Christmas 2007 Display

The Bellagio changed its display today to the “Christmas 2007″ theme, so I swung by to check it out.
It didn’t seem to be quite as elaborate as the Christmas 2006 display, but it was unique in its own right.
Instead of the Coca-Cola type bears, they had animatronic penguins, and central to the theme this year were computer-controlled water displays … a couple of mini-Bellagio-fountains on either side the huge Christmas tree.

I was able to get some good shots of the programming screens for the fountains.

They had four people working on laptops to fine-tune the fountain displays, and it was very interesting watching them.
They also had the standard water tunnel bridge, faux snow, acorn reindeer and several other interesting visuals.

Everybody seemed to be psyched by the display, and I enjoyed it as well. I guess I have seen so many Bellagio Conservatory Displays that I have just come to expect their greatness, and I no longer gush unless something really blows my mind … but this display lived up to the usual Bellagio Conservatory quality. First rate, of course.

If you will be in town in December, I would definitely put this display on your “to do” list.
If you won’t be in town until after the New Year … well … hopefully some of the photos and virtual tour videos below will be the next best thing.
