I just checked out the Pearl Website to make sure there weren’t any cancellations or other wackiness going on tonight, and while there I noticed that the Black Crowes were billed for next month.
When did the Palms start booking good bands two months in a row?
I’m telling you … that pig has really knocked some sense into George.
So naturally I clicked on “Buy Now” -> “Best Available”.
Turns out I got Row A seats in one of those goofy little boxes hanging over the general admission floor.

Seriously, aren’t getting box seats at a Black Crowes concert a bit like getting luxury suites for the WWF Ultimate Smackdown? I’ll be sure to bring my frigging tea and crumpets.
And since pot smoke rises, I am going to need a gas mask at this particular gig if I want to be able to find my way home afterward.
Anyway, for those of you in town October 11 … this is another option for you.
You can probably get stoned out of your gourd just by passing within a mile of the Palms on that particular night.
Then you can run around shouting “My Vegas is Showing!”, and actually have a plausible excuse for uttering the stupid slogan. Temporary insanity.
