Palazzo Update

I went over to “the greatest” Poker Room in the world for about an hour today (The Venetian), and afterward decided to go next door and check out the progress of The Palazzo … of which I am eagerly awaiting the opening.

It’s still slated to open before the end of the year, and judging by the progress, I believe it.

The construction workers were in good moods. They tried to pose for pictures for me, and jokingly told me that it would be $100 per photograph, etc.

Some of the most polite construction people I have encountered in town. The thing hasn’t even opened yet and I’m already getting superior service!

    Im hoping it will be open when we travel to Vegas in October but, I’m not holding my breath. At least it should be completed enough to get the external visual effect it will have on the north end of the strip. It’s good to see and improved skyline on that end.
